Born from the Silence
of Finnskogen
A dark Nordic spirit inspired by the forests between Sweden and Norway.
EXPLORE THE SPIRIT
The Spirit of Finnskogen
FINNSKOG DARK takes its name and inspiration from Finnskogen — the vast, mystical forest region stretching across Sweden and Norway. A place of silence, dark forests, hidden lakes, and untamed Nordic wilderness.
Centuries ago, the Forest Finns settled these remote lands, bringing traditions of resilience, woodland craftsmanship, and small-scale farming deeply rooted in nature. Life here was shaped by long winters, isolation, fire, hard work, and extraordinary self-reliance.
Families cultivated modest farms among the forest clearings, drew pure water from natural springs, and lived in profound connection with the land. Finnskogen remains a landscape of mystery, atmosphere, and quiet strength.
FINNSKOG DARK captures this spirit:
- the depth of the forest,
- the stillness of Nordic nights,
- the warmth of firelight,
- and the raw elegance of Scandinavian wilderness.
This is more than a spirit. It is a tribute to place, heritage, and northern character.

Wooden cabins in the clearing
For generations, the Forest Finns built small timber homes deep within the woods — warmed by firelight, surrounded by silence, and shaped by the rhythm of long Nordic winters.
Water drawn from the forest
Clear springs run beneath moss and stone, untouched by the modern world. From this same purity comes the clarity at the heart of FINNSKOG DARK.

Warmth against the long night
Fire was life — for cooking, for craft, for company. Its glow lingers in every bottle: a quiet warmth at the centre of the darkness.

From the silence of the forest
comes a darker spirit.
A Spirit Shaped by Place
FINNSKOG DARK is distilled to carry the character of its landscape — Nordic purity at its core, the depth of forest air, and the atmosphere of long, still nights.
Hand-crafted in small batches and finished with quiet precision, each bottle is a meeting of heritage and craftsmanship: the cold clarity of spring water, the warmth of botanicals nurtured by the north, and the unhurried patience of the Nordic wild.
A spirit you do not simply drink — you listen to it.
